Northfield Park caps off the weekend with a 14-race card. The feature rolls in Race 3, a non-winners of $5,000 in the last four starts with a $10,500 purse. The Early Pick 4 begins in Race 7 and the Late Pick 4 starts in Race 11, both have a $10,000 guaranteed pool. My focus will be on the Late Pick 4, there are some morning line favorites who might be vulnerable in the sequence. 

On Saturday night the driver with the hottest hands at Northfield was Ryan Stahl with four winners. Trainers Andy Rickert, Brian Looney and Sam Schillaci led the conditioners with two wins each. 

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track. 

Race 11 
5-Shooby Said - 6/5 ML chalk made it look very easy last week, should get a good trip and is the one to beat. 
6-Velocity U Bet - Worth a swing at 15-1 in the ML, could be on the lead or in the 2-hole turning for the wire. 

Race 12 
3-Just Plain Luck - 8/5 2nd choice gets a good post draw and makes 6th start of year, should compete for 1st win. 
6-Halfa Century - 3/2 chalk had a sharp try from 9-hole versus better, looks good on paper but doesn't like to win. 

Race 13 
3-Lilys Real Boy - Steps up in 3rd start at Northfield and price shot can do well on a smaller oval. 
4-Charmbo Blitz - Nice try in slop, 8/5 choice fits but is only 2-32 in 2018. 
6-Fancy Footwork - Dropped in last and won by almost 8 in the slop in 1.53.3, may handle the rise at a square price. 

Race 14 
5-Pearl Chrush - 4/5 shot should like the company but doesn't like to win, hard to leave out but not a lock. 
7-Tanzanite Love - Faded after being used aggressively, may leave to get a good seat and should be a square price. 
8-Good Lookin Woman - Nice try from 9-hole in last, looks like a player on a dry track.
