Cal Expo starts the weekend with an 11-race card. The feature rolls in Race 8, the Annette Funicello Pace for Fillies and Mares with a $4,000 purse. The 0.20 Pick 4 sequence begins in Race 8, it has a $20,000 guaranteed pool and will be my focus. 

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track. 

Race 8 
2-Dancer's Fancy-Steps up and missed a start but versus this crew will use. 
3-Sing N Sandi-3-yr-old faces older off a win, deserves a swing at 9-1 in the ML. 
4-Lickcreek Speedway-Although camera shy did come close in last on an off-track, should be in the hunt. 
8-Glad To Meet Ya-Off since qualifier on 11/3 which was good, likes the track and Plano can find some cover. 

Race 9 
2-Mint To Cruise-1st start off a qualifier, usually does well at CalX for Team Plano, fits if ready. 
3-Exceptional-0-20 but 3rd start back for trainer-driver-owner, may make the most of this soft field at a big price. 
6-GD Rock My World-Raced on a smaller oval, drops for Plested-Wiseman, 2-1 in ML but not trusting in 1st CalX start. 
7-Uringoodhands-2nd race in 2 years, closed well to just miss, should be tighter tonight. 

Race 10 
1-Oh My Josh-Not bad in 1st start at CalX, Wiseman picks up the drive and that shouldn't hurt. 
5-Just Be Talking-Longo trainee comes off a win and 2nd place finish, will string along for another strong effort. 
6-Eddie Brush-Chicago invader closed well and picked up a win, Magee needs to keep in striking range. 

Race 11 
4-Tornado Henry-Drew off by 4 lengths versus many of these, looks like a major player. 
7-Caviart Spencer-Couldn't reel in #4 last week but might be tighter in 3rd Cali start, looks like the top threat.
