Only got eight stone with George Wood on board who is claiming a valuable three pound. He has been transformed since being gelded and trainer Marcus Tregoning has a good record at this meeting.

2.25 (9:25AM ET) Better Odds With Matchbook Betting Exchange Handicap
Winston C
Jockey David Egan is great value for a 5lb claim and Winston C looks a big price for a horse on the upgrade. He has been performing well over a mile and half recently and I fancy him to do well here, although he wouldn’t want too much rain.

3.00 (10:00AM ET) Bombay Sapphire Molecomb Stakes (Group 3)
Happy Like A Fool
Noises coming from the Americans suggest that this is one of their best horse. He ran really well at Ascot and has got so much speed. I think Goodwood will suit more than Ascot as it is a quicker track.

3.35 (10:35AM ET) Qatar Sussex Stakes (Group 1)
Churchill
This is a fascinating race and I am hoping Churchill will redeem himself after defeat at Ascot, as he is still a four-time Group 1 winner. Ribchester is the main threat but I don’t think he will handle the speed of the track as much as Churchill will.
