Good Omen
This is a decent horse when he gets a bit of cut in the ground and Goodwood is forecast to get a fair deal of rain.  He has enjoyed stepping up in trip and only went up 3lb following his last win, when he won a shade comfortably.

2.25 (9:25AM ET) Better Markel Insurance Fillies’ Stakes (Lillie Langtry) (Group 3)
Harlequeen
She had an issue after her last run a year ago now, but prior to that had good form in Group 1 races. The extra couple of furlongs will be ideal and she is a four-year-old who will be a lot stronger following time off. She has also already won at Goodwood on soft ground.

3.00 (10:00AM ET) Qatar Richmond Stakes (Group 2)
Barraquero
He won impressively, going away, at Chepstow last time out and has clearly improved from his debut run. He is well worth stepping up in grade and could be anything.

Qatar Nassau Stakes (Group 1)
Winter
I am going for the favourite here, who has been a revelation this year. People worry about the mile and a quarter but she seems to stay on in all her races and I think she could be even better over longer.
