We haven’t seen him since the Chester May Festival where he ran a good second. The patience of the trainer will pay off like it does with most of Sir Michael Stoute’s horses as his horses gradually improve.

Both of these are good each-way chances despite stepping up in Grade. I know they have been going well at home and both deserve their chance here.

Only beaten by four lengths in this race last year and is 6lb better this time around, plus he has a good draw! Jockey David Allan and trainer Tim Easterby are also flying at the moment.

He won really well at Sandown last time out from a bad draw and despite pulling hard, so I am expecting more to come from him. I also like Final Venture as a good each-way chance at a big price; he has a good draw and likes the ground.
