SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - Friday's card at Saratoga Race Course will feature a two-day Pick 6 carryover of $160,106, after only one favorite hit the wire first in the entire six-race sequence.
The multi-race wager started with an upset by Tarawa ($32.30) in Race 5 and followed with First Appeal ($10.20) in 6, Danceland ($14) in 7, Hard Study ($4.10) in the $100,000 Birdstone in Race 8, Dream Mover ($15.60), and Zenbennie ($28.40) in the finale.
Friday's Pick 6 will include the Grade 2, $200,000 National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame, featuring top 3-year-old turf colts Bricks and Mortar, Big Handsome and Yoshida. The sequence starts with Race 5 with an approximate post time of 3:14 p.m.
The consolation payout on Thursday for five of six winners was $1,928.
