There will be a deep, star studded card on Hambletonian Day at the Meadowlands. Besides the $500,000 Hambletonian Oaks and the 92nd edition of the $1,000,000 Hambletonian, there will be eight additional stake races for your betting pleasure.

Race 2-Shady Daisy-Purse $113,950
2-Blazin Britches-Going to be a believer in this Ohio bred by way of Indiana who is 7 for 8 lifetime.
6-Idyllic Beach-8/5 ML favorite is a fine filly but needs to find best form, has tailed off some in last 6 weeks.

Race 3- Dr. John R. Steele Memorial-Purse $176,250
1-Pasithea Faces S-Looking for an upset and thinking Swedish invader will be even better in 3rd stateside start.
3-Hannelore Hanover-This lady is the champ and if at her best she may get her 5th win in 7 starts this year.
8-Emotican Hanover-Has only raced once since 6/17 but maybe pointed at this start. Will respect, but post could be a killer.

Race 4-Peter Haughton Memorial-Purse $360,650
1-Samo Different Day-Taking a swing with Team Takter. Colt is sharp, should be a square price and has won last 2 at Big M.
7-Met's Hall-It was tough to split the #1-#7 and if race sets up with a quicker pace it could be picture time.
5-You Know You Do-2-1 ML favorite hasn't done anything wrong but will likely be bet down again, will play against.

Race 5-Jim Doherty-Purse $330,800
2-Phaetosive-I don't see anything to not like, and 4-1 in the ML. Major player with a clean trip.
4-Manchego-A perfect 4-4 lifetime and deserves to be the 9/5 favorite.
7-Lily Stride-Raced well in last and finished 2nd to Manchego. Tetrick may try to come from off the pace today.

Race 6-John Cashman Memorial-Purse $303,050
2-Resolve-Starts inside of major foes, may relish the added distance and the return to the Big M.
3-Marion Marauder-Ontario bred is picking up right where he left off in 2016. ML chalk should be in the mix to the wire.
8-Flanagan Memory-Post doesn't help but may not matter much, if race sets up for a closer don't be shocked if rolls by late.

Race 7-Cane Pace-Purse $334,325
5-Downbytheseaside-Huntsville has a big post edge, but with the added 1/8, looking for a stalking trip for the upset win.
6-RJP-Doesn't win often but could be sitting on a big try. Best to not overlook, could add value to gimmicks.
1-Huntsville-Not afraid to look to others today, tough miles could be taking a toll and added distance may not help.

Race 11-Sam McKee-Purse $224,400
3-Mel Mara-Gets a good post and is sharp, slight program favorite should be tough to beat.
4-Mach It So-The major challenger and could like the added distance, but has had twice as many starts as #3.
1-Rock N' Roll World-Sears should be able to work a close-up trip and best to not dismiss, should like bigger oval.

Race 12-Hambletonian Oaks-Purse $500,000
4-Ariana G-Unless there is an off-day coming, she looks stronger than the rest of the field. Her race to lose.
2-Dream Together-North of the border invader could provide a boost to the ticket, will use as an exacta possibility.
5-Magic Presto-Model of consistency is 14 of 16 in the money lifetime, but would be a surprise if she scores today.

Race 13 Hambletonian Final-Purse $1,000,000
Long Tom-Loves the Big M, if 8 hole in elim. isn't an issue I'll give slight edge to Tetrick and this son of Muscle Hill.
International Moni-Scott Zeron will be looking for back-to-back Hambo wins and has a big shot to do so.
What The Hill-Versatile colt is looking to be 1st Haughton winner since Muscle Hill in 2009 to score on Hambo day.
Devious Man-Has the 9 hole in 1st elimination but still program chalk, has been very solid this year for Team Miller.

Race 15-Lady Liberty-Purse $200,400
3-Pure Country-Obviously hasn't had same success as last year, but can turn the tables on #5 this afternoon.
5-Nike Franco N-Pure Country set brisk fractions and this gal swept by late. Will be bet hard and is looking for 3rd straight.
2-Medusa-Owns a 1:49 mark at Big M. Gets a nice starting spot and at 15-1 in the ML could add value to the ticket.
