Tonight's main event is the Dan Patch Stakes at Hoosier Park. If the weather forecast is correct the track should be lightning fast. On Race 11, Hoosier has a $25,000 guaranteed Superfecta pool and it is a  0.10 wager. 

The morning line favorite, All Bets Are Off could be beat this field with his best effort but my Superfecta tickets will be looking for a few prices. My top selection is the morning line second chalk at 4-1 Check Six, who rallied to take the Sam McKee Memorial at 38-1. The Ron Burke trainee will be my key horse, with some prices sprinkled in to hit the board. If #6-Dr. J Hanover and or #8-Rockn Ron can ration their speed they could help bolster the payout. Local hero Freaky Feet Pete is a use in Superfecta betting as well.

Race 11-The Dan Patch Stakes-$325,000 Purse

1-Dealt A Winner - This horse has sub 1:50 speed but can't see hitting the board. Maybe at best, the bottom of Superfecta.

2-All Bets Off - With all due respect to the leading money winner in the field, recent races have been dull.

3-McWicked - Not thinking a win is in the cards, but Miller can keep in play and hit the board.

4-Freaky Feet Pete - Well this would be a nice story, but if they go sub 1:50 not sure Pete can get to the wire first.

5-Manahttan Beach - Doesn't look like the winner of almost $500k in 2016. Local connections need a big form reversal.

6-Dr J Hanover - D. McNair should be sitting on the engine or close to it. May get an easy lead and that helps chances.

7-Rock N Roll World - Appears to be overmatched but local connection paid $25k supplemental fee to enter. 

8-Rockn Ron - Should be out and winging with #6. If he gets a good early spot without great effort, could be a major player.

9-Check Six - Post doesn't help but could do best work in the late going. I don't think last week's big win was a fluke.

10-Wakizashi Hanover - Even with Tim Tetrick this post draw is tough. Not sure how Tetrick gets this one in play.
