SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - Longshots won the first three legs of Saturday's Pick 6 at Saratoga Race Course, setting up a carryover of $78,788 heading into Sunday's card at the Spa, which features the $100,000 Summer Colony contested at 1 1/8 miles on the main track for fillies and mares 4-years-old and up.
Saturday's Pick 6 sequence started with a victory by Pure Shot ($48) in Race 5 and was followed by Race Me Home ($28.60), Chastise ($44.20), Proctor's Ledge ($6.40) in the Grade 2 Lake Placid, Elate ($10.60) in the Grade 1 Alabama, and Remarqued ($15.60) in the finale.
Sunday's Pick 6 at Saratoga starts with Race 5 with an approximate post time of 3:15 p.m.
The consolation payout on Saturday for five out of six was $13,131.
