8:55AM ET - 13.55 Symphony Group Handicap
#7 Edward Lewis (8/1)
He has a lot of speed and is a hold-up horse with a good turn of foot. That style will suit him here as he won’t want to get to the front too soon. Danny Tudhope is on board and I think is one of the best jockeys around at the moment.
9:25AM ET - 14.25 Tattersalls Acomb Stakes (Group 3)
#10 Wells Farhh Go (EW) (15/1)
He will have a great each-way chance if there is rain. The penny seemed to drop late on last time and he came from a long way back, which is always hard to do at York. I think he will be a lot more tuned in this time and David Allan and Tim Easterby are having an amazing season. This race also isn’t often won by favourites.
10:00AM ET - 15.00 Betway Great Voltigeur Stakes (Group 2)
#6 Mirage Dancer (9/2)
This is a lightly raced horse, having only had three runs. He is progressing well and still learning so the step up to a mile and a half should really suit. I am opposing the favourite Cracksman as I think he will want further and York is a sharp one mile and a half.
10:35AM ET - 15.35 Juddmonte International Stakes (Group 1)
#3 Ulysses (3/1)
I think he will love it around York, especially dropping back to a mile and a quarter. He has a high cruising speed and has Jim Crowley on board who knows him well. They swing up the middle at York so Jim will have options as to which horse to follow as he won’t want to get to the front too soon.
