GBI Racing Ambassador Hayley Turner gives her views on Day Two of the Welcome To Yorkshire Ebor Festival.
Yesterday, Hayley won with two of her four top selections, including Wells Farhh Go at 10/1!
8:55AM ET - 1.55pm Goffs Premier Yearling Stakes
#3 Hey Jonesy (4/1)
He looks very uncomplicated and benefitted from his debut run when winning at York last time. He was quick out of the stalls and showed a good turn of foot. His trainer Kevin Ryan always does well here.
9:25AM ET - 2.25pm Sky Bet Lowther Stakes
#3 Madeline (5/2)
She really impressed me when winning a Listed race at Newbury last time. There was a bit of juice in the ground that day, which might suit if there’s more rain. Trainer Roger Varian is having a cracking season and this filly could be another star in the making.
10:00AM ET - 3.00pm Clipper Logistics Handicap
#14 Ronald R (8/1)
He ran a great race at Royal Ascot, only going down by a half-length but then the race wasn’t run to suit him on his next start at Newmarket. It was an uneven gallop, and I think he needs a strong pace to aim at to be seen at his best.
10:35AM ET - 3.35pm Darley Yorkshire Oaks
#6 Enable (1/3) to beat #2 Nezwaah (6/1) in a forecast (Exacta)
I can’t see beyond Enable (winning The Oaks right), who has swept all before her this season, but I do like the way Nezwaah has been progressing and she could chase Enable home. Nezwaah is gaining confidence and stayed on really well to win at this level in Ireland last time.
