Friday's feature at Hawthorne Race Course comes in Race 6, an Open Pace with a $13,500 purse. The Late 0.50 Pick 4 sequence begins in Race 6 and will have a $15,000 guaranteed pool. The ninth race Jackpot Hi-5 carryover now stands at $118,136.82. 

Last night, drivers Tim Curtin and Juan Franco each had two trips to the winner's circle. The biggest longshot on the card was driven by Clifton Bell (Belle of the Beach) in Race 7 and paid $128. Favorites didn't fare well in other legs of the Late Pick 4 sequence as the 3/10/5/2 combination paid a hefty $7,731.25 on a 0.50 bet.

Race 6 

4-Trashytonguetalker-Leonard is back in the bike and that won't hurt. A major threat and should be bet hard. 
5-Aimo Hanover-Even effort after a sick scratch. Best to not overlook, has speed and knows how to win. 
9-A Bettors Risk-Post is a challenge, has skipped a start but trainer has had a good meet and should have ready.

Race 7 

1-Gio Sage-Ill. Bred gets post relief and Franco has a hot hand. Should be in the hunt and could sweep by late. 
2-Rookie Ranger-Lightly raced 4-year old has been sharp since returning from fairs. Will use at a square price. 
4-One More Trick-9/5 chalk is a player but breaks at times. Will be bet hard, offers no value but best will be tough.

Race 8 

1-Ricky Robbie-Steps up but fits from this post. Should be on or close to the lead throughout. 
3-Delight Fashion-Camera shy but Leonards' choice. Could be in the 2 hole behind #1 and trip out. 
4-Kansas Wildcat-Might be overlooked at the windows and Oosting can keep 13-year old in striking distance.

Race 9 

2-Mystical Walter-ML chalk has burned a lot of cash at this meet, but now takes a significant drop. 
3-Want Me-Interesting claim by a trainer having a good meet so will respect chances. Winner of >$77k in 2016. 
4-Lucky Crusader-Longshot will need a trip and should be able to get one in an open race at 15-1 ML. 
9-Brooklynite-Start will be key, but if Husted can find a good early seat could surprise at nice odds.
