Gulfstream Park’s racing calendar shifted from Wednesday week openers to Thursday last week, and will continue with a 4-day, Thursday-Friday-Saturday-Sunday, schedule … Trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. reported that Gulfstream-based Ny Traffic will ship to Saratoga to train for the Kentucky Derby instead of returning to South Florida after Saturday’s Grade 1 Haskell nose runner-up to Authentic. There, he’ll join stablemate Tonalist’s Shape, whom Joseph said will race blinkers-off for the Kentucky Oaks.
