Mid-Atlantic racing venues add Colonial Downs to a busy regional racing schedule this week. Maryland Jockey Club horseplayers and horsemen won’t see an overlap with a Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday weekly line-up at Colonial. Jockey Jevian Toledo picked up career win No. 1,000 last Friday at Laurel Park and should continue to see his book stocked with solid mounts in the absence of injured leading rider Sheldon Russell (both share agent Marty Leonard). Jockey Feargal Lynch has been day-to-day after being unseated in Thursday’s third race. He is named to ride 5 on Thursday’s card to open this racing week.
