The 1st post at the Red Mile is at 1:00 PM EST today. There is a $5,542 carryover for the 0.50 Pick 5 which begins in Race 2 and the sequence will have a $15,000 guaranteed pool.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 2

1-Full Of Laughs (3-1)-Broke maiden in 25th start but that was this year. Has been competitive in all 5-races in 2020 with 3 coming from post 8 and that includes her lone victory. Looks like a player and the rail shouldn't hurt chances.
4-Bringonthechips (2-1)-Looking for 1st win at the Red Mile but has hit the board in 4 of 5 starts. This 3-year-old has 4 wins in 13 starts, everyone else has accounted for 6 wins and some of those were at fairs. Best to respect in this spot.

Race 3

1-Shes Got Bling (3-1)-This mare is a risky play as she has been known to break stride. But is a threat if she can mind her manners.
2-Starlight As (6/5)-Comes off a drop and pop win at ScD and has done well at Lex winning 4 of 7 starts here. Doesn't offer any value at the morning line odds but was battling tougher and should be a player.
5-Context (7/2)-Has had a breaking issue but last qualifier was noteworthy. Won by 9 lengths after breaking in previous two and trotted the mile in 155.2, last quarter in 27.2. Only 1-7 lifetime but that win came here.

Race 4

3-Three Card (8/5)-Program chalk has good speed but is trip dependent on a larger oval. Had a good year in 2019 but in 2020 is 0-9. Deserves a look but offers no value at 8/5, will use and look to others as well.
5-Sage Master (2-1)-Has hit the board in 9 of 17 starts at Lex with 2-wins. Speed is there but so are breaking issues. Can take a picture if stays pacing.
6-I Soar Him First (15-1)-Smaller barn has won 20% of its 46 races in the last year. 5-year-old has 2 wins in 4 starts at Lex and came 2nd in one other race. Owns a 152.4 mark here but has been off since 11/10/19. Fits at a price if ready.

Race 5

2-Pavaratti Bluechip (7/5)-Form has been dull and being 7/5 in the morning line says something about this field. Not loving the low price but makes more sense than most others.
6-Uncle Si (3-1)-Si has fallen on hard times in 2020 and has been unlucky. Was knocked out in last 2 starts because of broken equipment and also has drawn poorly. This could be a spot for a picture and has done well at the Red Mile.

Race 6

2-McCrakin (7/2)-Has been facing better but is 0-9 and has never raced here. 5-year-old has made only 9-starts and now makes 2nd start for new barn. Using in a race without any form.
8-Melancholy Rose (4-1)-Hawthorne invader is only 3-65 and 0-26 here, all of that usually means pass but not this time. Has hit the board 9 time at Lex and if Sheehan works a good trip, Rose may have the best chance at posing.
