If you are a fan of placing a bet on high caliber stake races with the best drivers and trainers participating, look no further than Saturday night's card at Mohawk. 

The ElegantImage Final for 3-year-old trotting fillies will be first of the big money purses as ten young ladies will compete for a share of $385,000 in the third race of the evening. In Race 5, some of the finest 3-year-old trotters will do battle in the $684,000 Canadian Trotting Classic. In Race 7, a field of ten older female pacers will take center stage in the $256,000 Milton Pace Final. The final prestigious event on the program will be the $593,000 Maple Leaf Trot for older horses coming in Race 9. Sandwiched between the stakes mentioned above will be the Metro Pace Eliminations. In the second, fourth and sixth races top 2-year-old pacers will look to gain a berth in next week's final.

The very strong colony of drivers on the Mohawk circuit will be joined by Corey Callahan, Daniel Dube, Yanick Gingras, Matt Kakaley, Mark MacDonald, Brett Miller, Dave Miller, Tim Tetrick and Scott Zeron. Some of the trainers travelling from south of the 49th parallel to join the festivities are Rene Allard, Frank Antonacci, Ron Burke, John Butenschoen, Nifty Norman and Jimmy Takter.
