Pompano Park has a 12 race Monday night card with the 0.50 Pick 4 beginning in Race 6. That sequence has a $20,000 guaranteed pool and it will be my focus.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 6

1-Prairie Panther (5/2)- Missed a start before the last outing but did cash a 2nd place check. Hennessey could be more aggressive here and this is the 2nd start on Lasix. Likes the Pomp winning 24 of 35 races in south Florida and should be dialed on high.
6-Seeing Eye Single (4-1)-Was used hard last week to get the top and faded late in the mile. Beaten chalk has Miller back in the bike and maybe he will try to work a different trip this week.

Race 7

6-Timon As (7/2)-Gets some post relief and thinking there will be a lively pace for this grinder to close into.
7-Keegan Ho (5-1)-Notched a victory at long odds at this class leaving from post 7. Eight-year-old likes to win and can stay good for a repeat picture.

Race 8

1-Make A Statement A (3/2)-Made the most of a pocket trip in last to snag 2nd win in 4 starts this year. The same script can be followed here, so best to respect.
6-Unlikeanyother (2-1)-Did the heavy lifting on the point last time only to be edged out by #1. Has won 4 of last 6 and should be a player again.
7-Maxdaddy Blue Chip (5-1)-Looking for some value and if the 2 above get into a speed duel this 9-year-old could benefit at a square price.

Race 9

2-In Secret (5/2)-Had a nice try from the 9 hole in 1st start for the Miller barn and was off for 3 weeks. Steps up but fits and could be better here.
3-Gemologist (4-1)-Gets some class relief and could be put in play with this post draw. Does like to race on top or close to the lead and that type of trip could work tonight.
6-Ev's Girl (3-1)-Consistent check casher should land in a nice seat after the wings open. May get sucked around and make the most of an efficient trip.
