TOURNAMENT OVERVIEW
- LIVE-MONEY KENTUCKY DOWNS TOURNAMENT ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2026
- Due to the weather forecast and changes Kentucky Downs has made to the Thursday card, the tournament FORMAT has been adjusted. Please review the tournament FORMAT section below.
- Buy-in: $300 ($150 Bankroll + $150 Entry Fee to Prize Pool).
- 100% of Entry Fees are paid out as prizes.
- Online registration begins approximately 96 hours in advance of the tournament and continues through the start of Race 1 at Kentucky Downs on the contest date.
- This tournament is hosted by Kentucky Downs, with Xpressbet acting as a satellite outlet for players. Please email Tournament Director Brian Skirka bskirka@monmouthpark.com with any questions.
FORMAT
- Due to the weather forecast and changes Kentucky Downs has made to the Thursday card, the tournament FORMAT has been adjusted.
- Tournament races are all live races at Kentucky Downs (Races 1 - 7) on Thursday, September 3, 2026.
- First post is now 12:00PM ET (Noon).
- Permitted wagers are Win, Place, Show, Exacta, and Daily Double.
- Players must, at minimum, wager $30 on three (3) seperate Kentucky Downs races.
- Players must wager, at minimum, their entire $150 bankroll during the contest.
- There are no maximums – players may wager as much as they want, including the winnings from their bankroll, whenever they wish.
- A minimum of 5 contest races must be ran. In the event that less than 5 contest races occur, the tournament will be considered a no-contest and players will be refunded their $150 Entry Fee.
- In the unlikely event of a cancellation of a race card, Tournament Officials reserve the right to substitute races from another racetrack or cancel the tournament and issue refunds to all participants, or move the tournament to another day.
