Buy-In

  • $3,000 Total Buy-In, split between:
    • $2,000 Tournament Bankroll
    • $1,000 Entry Fee (100% of Entry Fees will be paid out as Prizes)
  • Maximum of two (2) entries per person.

  • You must have an Xpressbet account balance of $3,000 or more to register for this tournament.
  • Online registration at Xpressbet opens Monday, October 5, 2020 and continues through Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 12:00PM ET.
  • You must be an NHC Tour Member prior to the start of the tournament in order to win an NHC Entry.
  • This is an official NHC Tour event and NHC Points will be awarded for this tournament.

Prizes (Based on 200 Entries)

  • The Top 6 finishers will receive:
    • Fully-paid berth into the 2020 Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge (BCBC) at Keeneland, a $10,000 value each.
    • Fully-paid berth into the 2021 NTRA National Horseplayers Championship (NHC), including hotel and $400 in airfare expenses.
  • The 7th through 10th finishers will receive:
    • Fully-paid berth into the 2021 NTRA National Horseplayers Championship (NHC), including hotel and $400 in airfare expenses.
  • The Top 15 finishers will receive cash prizes:
    • 1st Place Finisher: $40,000
    • 2nd Place Finisher: $20,000
    • 3rd Place Finisher: $10,000
    • 4th Place Finisher: $5,000
    • 5th Place Finisher: $3,000
    • 6th through 15th Place Finishers: $1,500

Format

  • Contestants are only eligible to play on Xpressbet or TVG.
  • The contest consists of ten live races held at Keeneland on Saturday, October 10, 2020.
  • Contestants must bet at least $400 per race in a total of at least five (5) races in Win, Place, Show, Double, Exacta and/or Trifecta wagers.
  • No Pick 3, Pick 4, Pick 5, Pick 6, Superfecta or Super High 5 wagers are eligible for contest play.
  • The player with the largest bankroll balance after the final race will be declared the winner.
  • There are no caps on payoffs, but payoffs which trigger IRS withholdings could result in a tax withholding situation. If that occurs the scoring system will give the player credit for the full amount of the wager.
  • Collusion among players shall be grounds for immediate disqualification and forfeiture of all entry fees and tournament prizes. For more information, please see the Official Rules.
