2020 Kentucky Downs Turf Handicapping Challenge
Buy-In
- $600 Total Buy-In per Entry, split between:
- $300 Live Tournament Bankroll
- $300 Entry Fee (100% of Entry Fees will be paid out as Prizes)
- Maximum of two (2) entries per person.
- This tournament is hosted and sponsored by Kentucky Downs and offered online at Xpressbet.com.
- You must have an Xpressbet account balance of $600 to register online.

- Online registration at Xpressbet begins Wednesday, September 16, 2020 and continues through 12:00PM ET. There is no pre-entry for this tournament.
- You must be an NHC Tour Member prior to the start of the tournament in order to win an NHC Entry.
- This is an official NHC Tour event and NHC Points will be awarded for this tournament.
Prizes (Based on 80 Entries)
Based on 80 entries, total prize pool is $24,000
- 3 NHC Prize Packs (NHC seat, flight reimbursement, hotel stay)
- Top 3 Split $3,000 cash:
- 1st - $1,500
- 2nd - $1,050
- 3rd - $450
- A partial 2020 Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge (BCBC) seat awarded to National Turf Champ.
- Remaining cash awarded to National Turf Champ.
- A player MUST compete in both contests (Tuesday, September 15 and Wednesday, September 16) to be eligible to be named National Turf Champion.

Based on 100 entries, total prize pool is $30,000

- Top 5 Split $5,000 cash:
- 1st - $2,500
- 2nd - $1,000
- 3rd - $750
- 4th - $500
- 5th - $250
- A partial 2020 Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge (BCBC) seat awarded to National Turf Champ.
- Remaining cash awarded to National Turf Champ.
- A player MUST compete in both contests (Sunday, September 13 and Wednesday, September 16) to be eligible to be named National Turf Champion.
Format
- Contestants are only eligible to play online at Xpressbet or TVG.
- Contest wagering allowed on the full card from Kentucky Downs on Wednesday, September 16, 2020
- Win, Place, Show, and/or Exacta wagering only.
- Must wager on a minimum of 6 total races. No maximum.
- $50 minimum bet per race. No maximum.
- Entrants keep all pari-mutuel winnings.
- Collusion amongst players may serve as grounds for disqualification.
- The decisions of the judges and Kentucky Downs in all matters or disputes relating to this handicapping challenge are final.
