TOURNAMENT OVERVIEW
- LIVE-MONEY TOURNAMENT ON SATURDAY, APRIL 18, 2026
- This tournament is hosted by Laurel Park, with Xpressbet acting as a satellite outlet for players. Please email Tournament Director Brian Skirka bskirka@monmouthpark.com with any questions.
- Buy-in: $500 ($250 Bankroll + $250 Entry Fee to Prize Pool).
- 100% of Entry Fees are paid out as prizes.
- Online registration begins approximately 96 hours in advance of the tournament and continues through first post (Race 1) at Laurel Park on the contest date.
FORMAT
- Tournament consists of ALL live races at Laurel Park on Saturday, April 18. 2026.
- Players must wager a mimimum of $50 per race in a total of at least five (5) races. No max.
- Wagers less than the minimum $50 bet will be allowed PROVIDED THAT, at the end of the contest, the player has the requisite minimums of 5 races at $50 apiece.
- Permitted wagers are win, place, show, exacta and daily double.
- In the unlikely event of a cancellation of a race card, Tournament Officials reserve the right to substitute races from another racetrack or cancel the tournament and issue refunds to all participants.
PRIZES (BASED ON 120 ENTRIES)
- One (1) entry into the Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge (BCBC), valued at $10,000 each.
- Two (2) entires into the National Horseplayers Championship (NHC), includes $400 flight voucher and hotel stay .
- $9,300 cash prize pool to the top five (5) finishers:
- 1st: $4,650
- 2nd: $1,860
- 3rd: $1,395
- 4th: $930
- 5th: $465
