TOURNAMENT OVERVIEW
- LIVE MONEY CONTEST ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 8, 2026
- Buy-in: $500 ($250 Bankroll + $250 Entry Fee to Prize Pool).
- 100% of Entry Fees are paid out as prizes.
- This tournament is hosted by Monmouth Park, with Xpressbet acting as a satellite outlet for players. Please email Tournament Director Brian Skirka bskirka@monmouthpark.com with any questions.
- Online registration begins approximately 96 hours in advance of the tournament and continues through the start of Monmouth Park Race 1 on the contest date.
FORMAT
- Tournament races are ALL live races from Monmouth Park and Saratoga (TB) on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
- Permitted wagers are Win, Place, Show, Exacta and Daily Double.
- Players must bet a minimum of $50 on five (5) Monmouth Park races, no maximum.
- Wagers less than the minimum $50 bet will be allowed PROVIDED THAT at the end of the contest, the player has the requisite minimums of five Monmouth Park races at $50 apiece.
- In the unlikely event of a cancellation of a race card, Tournament Officials reserve the right to substitute races from another racetrack or cancel the tournament and issue refunds to all participants.
PRIZES (BASED ON 200 ENTRIES)
- Two (2) entries into the Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge (BCBC), valued at $10,000 each.
- Two (2) entries into the National Horseplayers Championship (NHC).
- Plus, cash prize pool to the top 10 finishers:
- 1st Place - $8,400 + Seat choice
- 2nd Place - $4,400 + Seat choice
- 3rd Place - $3,000 + Seat choice
- 4th Place - $1,400 + Seat choice
- 5th Place - $800
- 6th - 10th Place - $400
