How do I enroll in Thoroughbreds™ powered by 1/ST Rewards?

- Request an ‘1/ST Rewards Card’.
If I’m an existing Thoroughbreds™ member, do I need to do anything?
- Yes, you’ll still need to visit the Main Thoroughbreds Center inside Santa Anita Park, located at the east end of the Grandstand, to get your new 1/ST Rewards card.
So I’ve got my new card, will I still get discounts on admission at the gate at Santa Anita Park?
- Absolutely. With Thoroughbreds™ powered by 1/ST Rewards, you can still enjoy all the old perks of your Thoroughbreds™ membership, including swiping at the gate for 50% off admissions and the mailers full of discounts and special promotions.
Do I need to swipe my new Thoroughbreds™ powered by 1/ST Rewards Card at the gates and wagering terminals?
- Yes, in order to get your 50% off admission discount, you’ll need to bring your new Rewards Card and swipe it at the gate.
- Additionally, you will have to swipe your Rewards Card at the wagering terminals when making bets to earn Rewards Points.
I’m already an Xpressbet customer. Do I need to have a Card?
Yes. While Xpressbet customers are automatically enrolled in the program, you still need to pick up an 1/ST Rewards Card. You can do so by visiting the Main Thoroughbreds Center inside Santa Anita Park.
- Bring your Xpressbet account number and a valid photo ID.
- You will need to answer a few simple security questions.
Do I need to be an Xpressbet customer to participate in the Thoroughbreds™ powered by 1/ST Rewards program?
No, you do not have to be an existing Xpressbet customer, nor do you need to open an Xpressbet online wagering account. You can simply enroll in Thoroughbreds™ powered by 1/ST Rewards and earn Points for your wagers (live and simulcast) during live racing at Santa Anita.
However, Xpressbet customers enjoy the advantage of combining their on-track and online wagers to earn more Points and reach higher Status levels quickly. You can Sign Up for Xpressbet online, by calling 866.88XPRESS or by visiting the Main Thoroughbreds Center inside Santa Anita.
How do I earn 1/ST Rewards Points?
You earn Points for all of your on-track and online wagers:
- 4 Points per dollar wagered on-track on live racing at Santa Anita.
- 3 Points per dollar wagered on simulcast races while racing is live at Santa Anita.
- 2 Points per dollar wagered online at Xpressbet.com.
What can I redeem my Points for?
Our Rewards Catalog is loaded with great online and on-track items. Click the 1/ST Rewards Catalog tab at the top of the page to view our offerings like admission and parking passes, wagering vouchers, dining packages, track experiences and more.
How do I redeem my 1/ST Rewards Points?
Redeeming items from our Catalog is quick and easy. To redeem any of the Santa Anita Park or Experiential items, simply visit the Main Thoroughbreds Center inside Santa Anita Park and one of our representatives will assist you.
In order to redeem Points for any Xpressbet item, please visit the Rewards Shop inside the digital Xpressbet Pro Shop and follow the on-screen instructions. You can also call Xpressbet Customer Service at 866.88XPRESS to redeem Points over the phone.
How do I bet using my 1/ST Rewards Card?
At the Terminals
- Insert cash, a voucher or winning ticket
- Swipe your 1/ST Rewards Card
- Make your wagers
- Receive a printed ticket(s)
- Click “Finished” so unused cash is returned.
With a Teller
- Provide cash, a voucher or winning ticket
- Provide 1/ST Reward Card
- Place your wagers with the teller
- Receive a printed ticket(s)
How do I bet on-track with my Xpressbet account?
- Swipe your 1/ST Rewards Card
- Enter PIN.
- Make your wagers. Funds will be automatically withdrawn from your Xpressbet online account balance. You will not receive a printed ticket. Review your bets at the terminal, online or with Xpressbet Mobile.
- Press ‘Finish’ to complete your wagering session
How do deposit and withdraw from my Xpressbet account at the track?
Deposit Cash, Voucher or Winning Tickets
- Swipe your 1/ST Rewards Card.
- Press ‘Account Functions’ and then ‘Deposit.’
- Choose ‘Voucher, Ticket or Cash.’
- Insert cash, a voucher or winning ticket. Funds will be available in your Xpressbet account balance.
Deposit using a Credit Card or Bank Account
- Swipe your 1/ST Rewards Card.
- Press ‘Account Functions’.
- Press ‘Deposit’.
- Follow on-screen instructions to select existing Xpressfund or Credit Card. You must have an existing Credit Card or Bank Account linked to your Xpressbet account in order to use this function. Click here for more information on Funding.
Withdraw Cash
- Swipe your 1/ST Rewards Card.
- Press ‘Account Functions’.
- Press ‘Withdraw’.
- Follow on-screen instructions. You will receive a printed voucher redeemable for cash at any teller. You cannot withdraw more than $5,000 in a 24-hour period.
I’m having trouble using the 1/ST Rewards Card while I’m at Gulfstream Park. Where should I go?
If you’re having any problems using either your Xpressbet or 1/ST Rewards accounts, please visit the Main Thoroughbreds Center, located at the east end of the Santa Anita Grandstand.
How do I receive a printed ticket when I wager on self-service terminals?
The only way to receive a printed ticket when you place your wagers at self-service terminals is to follow these steps:
- Deposit Cash, Winning Tickets or a Cash Voucher
- Swipe your 1/ST Rewards Card
- Make your wagers
- You will receive a printed ticket for each bet you make
- Press ‘Return Balance’
- Unused funds will be returned to you in the form of a Cash Voucher
Why didn’t I receive a printed voucher when I made my wagers?
You will not receive a printed ticket for bets placed using your 1/ST Rewards or Xpressbet account balances. You can view all of the wagers you’ve placed with your existing account balance, Xpressfund or Credit Card at Xpressbet.com or with Xpressbet Mobile.
I placed my bets but didn’t receive a printed ticket. How can I view my wagers?
You can view all of the wagers you’ve placed at self-service terminals using your account balance by visiting Xpressbet.com or with Xpressbet Mobile.
