TRAVERS DAY CHALLENGE OVERVIEW
- LIVE MONEY HANDICAPPING TOURNAMENT on Saturday, August 26, 2023.
- Buy-in: $800 ($400 Bankroll + $400 Entry Fee to Prize Pool).
- You must have an account balance of $800 or more to register for this contest.
- 100% of Entry Fees are paid out as prizes.
- Online registration opens Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at approximately 12:00PM ET.
- Online entries will be accepted up until the start of the first tournament race on Saturday, August 26, 2023.
FORMAT
- Tournament races are all races from Monmouth Park & Saratoga (TB) on Saturday, August 26, 2023.
- Permitted wagers are Win, Place, Show, Exacta and Daily Double.
- No Quinella, Trifecta, Superfecta, Super High 5, Grand Slam, Pick 3, Pick 4, Pick 5 or Pick 6 wagers are permitted in this contest.
- Players must wager on a minimum of $80 on a minimum of five (5) Monmouth Park races.
- There are no maximums – players may wager as much as they want, including the winnings from their bankroll, whenever they wish.
- In the unlikely event of a cancellation of a race card, Tournament Officials reserve the right to substitute races from another racetrack or cancel the tournament and issue refunds to all participants.
PRIZES (BASED ON 150 ENTRIES)
- Three (3) entries into the 2023 Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge, valued at $10,000.
- Three (3) entries into the 2024 National Horseplayers Championship (NHC), including airfare and hotel accommodations.
- $15,000.00 Cash Prize pool for the top five (5) finishers.
