ULTIMATE BETTING CHALLENGE OVERVIEW
- Due to the cancelation of live racing at Santa Anita Park on Saturday, March 2, the Ultimate Betting Challenge will feature races from Gulfstream Park only. Please refer to the updated OFFICIAL RULES for more information. Players may still compete on-site at Santa Anita.
- LIVE MONEY CONTEST ON SATURDAY, MARCH 2, 2024
- Buy-in: $6,000 ($5,000 Bankroll + $1,000 Entry Fee to Prize Pool) for each tournament.
- 1/ST will seed four (4) 2025 NHC Seats to the prize pool.
- FIRST live-money tournament that you can earn 2024 NHC Tour Points
- You must be an NHC Tour Member prior to the start of the tournament in order to win an NHC Entry.
- This is an official NHC Tour event. Per the NHC, NHC Tour Points will be awarded in accordance with the official NHC Tour rules, which can be found at www.nhctour.com
- 100% of Entry Fees are paid out as Cash Prizes.
- Online registration begins approximately 96 hours in advance of the tournament.
- Entries will be accepted up until 2:15PM ET (Start of Gulfstream Park Race 7) on the contest date.

- Seeded by 1/ST: Entries into the 2025 National Horseplayers Championship (NHC), including airfare and hotel accommodations, will be awarded to the top four (4) finishers.
- $100,000.00 Cash Prize pool split among the top five (5) finishers.
- 1st Place Finisher - $50,000
- 2nd Place Finisher - $25,000
- 3rd Place Finisher - $15,000
- 4th Place Finisher - $10,000
- 5th Place Finisher - $5,000
- $5,000 On-Track Bonus: If the winner of this tournament plays on-site at Gulfstream Park or Santa Anita Park on Saturday, March 2, 2024, they will receive a $5,000 Bonus in addition to the prizes outlined above. The On-Track Bonus is not pulled from the prize pool and is incremental to entry fees collected.

- $150,000.00 Cash Prize pool split among the top five (5) finishers.
- 1st Place Finisher - $75,000
- 2nd Place Finisher - $30,000
- 3rd Place Finisher - $22,500
- 4th Place Finisher - $15,000
- 5th Place Finisher - $7,500
- $5,000 On-Track Bonus: If the winner of this tournament plays on-site at Gulfstream Park or Santa Anita Park on Saturday, March 2, 2024, they will receive a $5,000 Bonus in addition to the prizes outlined above. FORMAT
- Eligible contest races are ALL live races at Gulfstream Park on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
- Races simulcast from Latin America or South America as part of the Gulfstream Park card are not included.
- Permitted wagers are Win, Place, Show, Exacta, Trifecta and Daily Double.
- No Pick 3, Pick 4, Pick 5, Pick 6, Superfecta, Super High 5 or Golden Hour wagers will be permitted in this tournament. The Parlay function for Win, Place and Show wagers is not permitted.
- Players must bet at least four (4) contest races at a minimum of $500 per race.
- Players must bet, at minimum, their entire $5,000 bankroll during the contest.
- There are no maximums – players may wager as much as they want, including the winnings from their bankroll, whenever they wish.
- Daily Double wagers will count toward the wagering total in the race the bet is placed. For example, a Double wager on Race 4 (linking to Race 5) will count as a wager on Race 4.
- In the unlikely event of a cancellation of a race card, Tournament Officials reserve the right to substitute races from another racetrack or cancel the tournament and issue refunds to all participants.
