ARCADIA, Calif. (May 25, 2019) — XBTV, The Stronach Group’s premier digital on-line content provider, was awarded two 2019 Telly Awards in an announcement earlier this week. XBTV joined a diverse range of winners, from established traditional to on-line network winners, including ESPN, NBC Sports, CBS / Viacom, A&E, PBS and HBO. This year marks the Telly Awards’ 40th anniversary as the world’s largest honor for video and television content across all screens.

XBTV won a Silver Telly for “A Candid Conversation with Victor Espinoza (Part 1)” in the category of Online General – Sports. In the piece, XBTV reporter Zoe Cadman and the Triple Crown winning jockey discussed the accident which left him with a broken neck and his riding career at a crossroads.

XBTV won a Bronze Telly for a: 30 promo for the website’s coverage of “Morning Workouts” in the category of Promotional Video General – Sports.

These were the 2nd Silver and 6th Bronze Telly Awards bestowed on XBTV since 2016.

Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards honor video and television made for all screens. The more than 12,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents are judged by the Telly Awards Judging Council-an industry body of over 200 leading experts including advertising agencies, production companies and major television networks, reflective of the multi-screen industry.
