The features at Northfield Park tonight are three divisions of the Gridiron Series for fillies and mares, non-winners of two pari-mutuel starts. There will be a Pick 4 sequence starting in Race 7 and Race 11, both will have a $10,000 guaranteed pool. My focus will be on the Late Pick 4. 

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track. 

Race 11 

2-Dilly Dali-Drops into a soft spot and gets post relief + Wrenn, no excuses allowed. 
3-The Lady Vanishes-Faded after a hot pace in last, now 2nd start for new trainer and should be in the hunt. 
8-Becks Wood Place-Merriman sticks after passive try, but was off 14 days, looking for a bigger effort at 8-1 in ML. 

Race 12 
3-Uptown Romance-Passed horse late in 1st Nfld start, has to avoid being too far back early. 
4-Addie Pie-Gets Wrenn again and this is a soft bunch, needs to pass someone in the lane. 
6-Sand Slinger-Will toss 1st start at Nfld, could find live cover for new trainer tonight at 25-1 in the ML. 

Race 13 
4-Thunder Again-In fine form but does change trainers, looks like a major player. 
6-Official Sweep-Comes back in 7 days, A. Merriman sticks and looks like strongest challenger to #4. 

Race 14 
1-Outstanding Payday-Should be on the engine or in 2-hole and that could mean its picture time. 
3-Gaston-1st start at Nfld wasn't bad, couldn't catch leaders into a slow pace. Looking for a more aggressive try. 
8-Libertys Choice-Post will make the price, comes off confident win and has gate speed to get a good early seat.
