Tonight's feature at Mohawk Park rolls in Race 9, a conditioned trot with a $22,000 purse. The 0.20 Pick 5 starts the card and will be my focus. The Monday Pick 5 pools have been going well above the $50,000 guarantee. 

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track. 

Race 1 

1-Donato Lane-Comes off an aggressive try, should benefit from starting on the wood and might be overlooked. 
2-Cheatalotpov-Gets post relief and could trip out, looks well worth a swing at a square price. 
3-Bosston Glide-Big 3-year-old had a much-improved effort for a picture, maybe has put things together. 
7-Draft Year-Comes back in 8 days this time and could be sitting on a big try. 

Race 2 

1-Bautista-Steps up a notch after a decent effort, was off almost a month and should be tighter tonight. 
5-Fly Beyond-Start should be better than in last, handy sort looks like a player once again. 
7-What Chapter-Similar to #5, should be in better position at the 1/2 and will use instead of #6 the ML chalk. 

Race 3 

2-Northern Lauren-2nd start off a claim for Auciello, knows how to win and best to respect. 
7-Nomatterwhen-Won 2 straight for Shepherd before being claimed but now returns and McNair is back in the bike. 
8-Lo Hold A Moonbean-Looks like a price shot that can compete with the right trip. 

Race 4 

1-Beachin Lindy-Seems best suited on the engine and should get the top without much strain. 
3-So Much Bettor-If Fillion can avoid being 1st over this 3-year-old should be flying late. 
7-Rocky J Squirrel-Used hard at the start in last, might get a pocket trip behind #1. 

Race 5 

5-Windsong Olympia-Won 1st start for Fine and steps up, this isn't a deep field an encore could be in the cards. 
7-Kaymar Chrome-Slow starter might not mind this post, can roll late with a good cover flow.
